Learning Outcomes
By the end of this course, learners will be able to:
- Identify common types of mobile plant and their hazards.

Understand how serious incidents occur around moving, slewing and working plant.

Recognise the importance of Traffic Management Plans (TMPs).

Understand the responsibilities of site management, operators and pedestrians.

Follow safe approaches to mobile plant using recognised communication methods.

Understand the importance of exclusion zones and segregation.
-
Recognise the role of safety control levers and isolation devices in preventing unintended movement.
How long does it take?
Approximately 20–30 minutes
How often is it needed?
It is recommended to be undertaken every 3 years.
